STARS is a European Network for animal welfare. The idea to establish this organization arose out of a cooperative circle of animal loving physicians, veterinarians and dentists.

Protecting animals is part of the global principal of human ethics, which rests upon compassion and respect of all living creatures. We thus consider our actions to be in service of humanity.

We are a registered German charitable non-profit organization working together with domestic and international animal welfare organizations, the media and authorities, independently from political or religious convictions.
